Job Description
We are looking for an ambitious developer m/f/d to guide innovative software projects by building and implementing highly functional applications and solutions. You will work with other developers and product managers throughout the application and software development life cycle. You should be a team player with love to detail and troubleshooting skills. If you also have experience in server architecture and popular coding languages (see below), we'd like to meet you.
Role and Responsibilities
- Produce clean and efficient code
- Prototype and improve new software
- Integrate software components and third-party programs
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
- Gather and evaluate user feedback
- Design algorithms and flowcharts
- Recommend and execute improvements
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
- Build new product features from scratch to finish through conception and collaboration with our dynamic team
- Software product implementation and testing, polish, and maintenance
- UI/UX design and implementation to backend database access
- Support clients and colleagues in development challenges by sharing your expertise
- Product improvements on performance and stability
- Improve processes and internal tools to monitor, maintain, and enhance our platforms
Your Profile
- 3-5 years of experience as a software developer, software engineer, or similar role is recommended, but recent college or apprenticeship graduates are encouraged to apply
- Experience in developing web based platforms with PHP (S)CSS, Javascript, HTML, Mysql
- Familiarity with known Frameworks for javascript & PHP like JQuery & Laravel
- Advanced English language skills

As VE-Factory's events manager you will plan and run promotional, business and social events on our virtual events platform. You will be responsible for running a range of events, ensuring the target audience is engaged and the message of the event is marketed properly. Events play a huge part in the success of a brand or an organisation.
As Virtual Events Manager, you will organise virtual conferences, seminars and exhibitions, as well as online networking events.
You'll manage the whole process from the planning stage, right through to the coordination of venue design to running the event and carrying out the post-event evaluation. The role is primarily hands-on and often involves working as part of a team.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a virtual event manager, you'll need to:
- Liaise with clients to find out their exact event requirements
- Produce detailed proposals for events (including timelines, virtual venues and meeting spaces, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets)
- Manage and coordinate all event workflows
- Liaise with sales and marketing teams to publicise and promote the event
- Manage all pre-event planning, coordinate media productions and transfers.
- Handle client queries and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly and to budget
- Manage a team of staff, giving full briefings
- Produce post-event evaluation to inform future events
- Research opportunities for new clients and events.
